House Va'ruun is a joke

they are meant to be this mysterious cult like 3rd faction but they don't even have their own unique ship manufacturer.

imagine if they had their own unique ships and parts and the only way you could get their ships was by capturing them.

honestly the crimson fleet are the same, they should have had their own unique ships and ship parts, maybe not totally unique but like modified pirate looking versions of the cockpits and engines with their own style hab pieces.

they are both outside of the main 2 factions and would probably not have access to the shipyards there so it makes no sense that Va'ruun uses them, and pirates would modify their ships more after they stole them so there would be familliar pieces but modified.

Maybe "joke" is a bit harsh, but like several other aspects of the game it leaves me with a bittersweet taste of unfulfilled potential...

"It's got potential" seems to be the selling point of AAA games these days, it's never fulfilled, but it's there.

The zealots are on Jihad, and the "Peaceful" ones just hope all the infidels die and burn in hell while secretly supporting zealots in their mission.
They surprise attacked a very popular trade hub out of nowhere, with no warning, for reason's based on their religious beliefs "Kill anyone who doesn't believe in the Great Snake."

I do think it's a shame that they have their own clearly more advanced and futuristic weaponry but fly Stroud-Ecklund ships. Arguably the ugliest pillow ships.

It has to be said, House Va'Ruun are woefully underdeveloped. If this isn't addressed in future content I will be absolutely shocked and convinced that the developers in many respects, have completely lost the plot.

They do have unique ships. One landed on a planet I was on and I rushed over and boarded it and claimed it. It was shaped like a big square like a piece of toast. This was a C class ship.
