8 Years in Development ???

they claim this game was in planning for 25 years, and in development for 8 years, then why does every single feature in this game feel halfassed / rushed last minute?

- a huge but dead universe
- planets are restricted to 1 city each (if any)
- the universe has a total population of maybe 1000 people which is extremely weird
- outposts are useless and boring, just a huge time sink
- exploring planets is not rewarding at all, you get the same generic facilities and quest everywhere
- the ingame economy is completely broken, money loses its value after level 20 or so
- tons of unnecessary loading screens
- bad inventory management
- they included race and culture war themes in the game
- space combat is extremely boring
- the whole concept of how space travel works in this game is lame, the main purpose of your ship seems to be sort of a mobile storage, and to add more loading screens to the game
- game is filled with gay propaganda
- the main quest is extremely short, and you lose all your stuff (including outposts) after completing it
- every single cave i entered was empty except for some ore deposits, no monsters or anything
- all NPCs are extremely friendly in a way that makes you want to puke
- factions are mostly meaningless, no standings or climbing up the ranks in UC security or whatever



but hey, there is some positive stuff at least

- ship building is decent
- (some) characters dont look like potatos (under the right lighting conditions)

8 years in development, first new franchise in 25 years from them.

It has not been in development for 25 years. It stayed as a thought, an idea of something Todd wanted to do in the future. They didn't begin pre-production until after fallout 4 was finished with. How much time they dedicated to pre-production is beyond me. but they didn't start actual development until later.

+ Black npcs has biggest population while white npcs are not exists.
+ White npcs have bad jobs and poor and usually bad guys.
+ Women have all important roles and they are in charge while male characters have nothing.

So for this crap, they worked 25 years? Starfailed for sure.

Because you never mad ♥♥♥♥ in your life like this. Its more put together then Fallout 4 was on launch lol. Also how many those years was covid restrictions slowing them the hell down lol. Then add in they were focused on saving 76, wich every one swore Fallout MP would be amazing then cried when they got it sigh.
