Tell me how to fix the photo mode

Photos are not saved in the game, you have to take screenshots of the screen, which is not the same at all. Maybe who knows how to fix it?

That is the "fix". Take the photo, go to the gallery, bring up teh image, hide interface, F12.

Windows 11 has a snipping feature that lets you size your image you want and saves it to your pictures by hitting prtsc button. Just google how to enable snipping feature in windows 11.

Do you use any mods?

There's at least one "mod" at Nexusmods that if you use it as-is, it disables photo-mode functionality. (I put "mod" in quotes because technically it's not a real mod, it's just a ini file edit).

The one that breaks photo mode that I know of is Starfield Texture Mod fix[www.nexusmods.com], though there could be others. The solution is to not use it and instead create a file junction to get the same affect. Comments at that link explain what to do.

hello, I had an graphic mod i installed for Starfield and the photos in the gallery do not even show now. I uninstalled the mod and deleted it but still snapping a picture does not show up . Help please?

I had my photos also stop showing in the browser when the Nexus app Vortex changed my game configuration. This is what I did to fix it.

• FInd the StarfieldCustom.ini file in [your documents]/My Games/Starfield.
  
• Open it in notepad. There's a [Display] section and an option to set the location where photos are stored. Vortex added this line so I commented it out like this.
  

  [Display]
  ;sPhotoModeFolder=Photos

• Restart the game.

Sidetip: You can also add this to keep the game running when you alt-tab out of it.

I added that alt-tab thing to mine now. I would usually use a console command to make it alt-tabable and it still plays, but this should be better.
