What exactly is it that you are suggesting is a better design?
What does running out of med packs have to do with the UI?
The number if Aid items you have to scroll through is directly proportional to what the player picks up. If you don't want to scroll then don't pick it up or just put what you want to scroll through on your favorites bar.
To discover locations for the first time and to engage in space combat.
Morrowind, Fallout 3, Oblivion, New Vegas, Fallout 4...
- "fix bullet sponge" - mods like this have an easy to tweak file to modify to your tastes. I have the feeling the mouth breathers can't figure out how to do this though.
A better question is to ask: what happend to you.
Starfield improves on their previous games in a number of ways. Not all of them. There's some obvious flaws like the UI, but its still a great game despite of these flaws.
Lower the difficulty or get better weapons or skills. The game is an RPG after all.
Who cares.
Dont use grenades, then. Actually, where are you even finding enough grenades to spam them? You dont find them that often, so you'd have to buy them in shops.
Yeah its horrible, but its also the worst thing in this game.
Yes, who cares. Why do you complain about these things when its Starfield and not other games? Why are you willing to ignore the flaws of the Bethesda games you love, but not this one?
What has happened to you?
Whats wild is the amount of work modders have done to rectify that past games. Repeatedly. Iteration after iteration of each game.
They get great reception. Including sub communities that mod around these overhauls. You'd think Bethesda would take notes on that being so mod-centric.
Yet here we are again...
It's like the person that made the UI is brand new to making UI. Thankfully a modder fixed the entire inventory in a day lol. That's how horrible BGS devs are. Someone that doesn't even get paid to do it fixed it in a day.

I also have the feeling that high lvl enemies have way better AI. They hide and move much "smarter".
