You’ll have Sarah, Sam+Cora, Andreja, and Barrett (minus one if they’re dead ofc) tell you about their desire to go through the Unity.
I’m not sure if you can actually convince them not to, but regardless, when you go to the Unity you’re by yourself.
Yet, during the “this is the state of the universe you’re leaving” display prior to entering Unity, you’ll see Walter, Vladimir, Matteo, and Noel as the existing members of Constellation.
So we have to assume that either
A) you’re all going through it but each person is getting their own 1 on 1 with themselves and making their choice like you are
Or
B) the others followed after you (I think it says something like after you pass through, the armillary/ship will return to the Lodge)
Granted, you don’t actually see anyone on your ship or have the ability to make them companions before you leave, but that may be just a bit of oversight and bad writing on Beth’s part.
As far in the next universe?
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I think they said that it’s not a guarantee you’re all going to end up in the same universe.
So you may go through and end up in universe A, Sarah goes through and ends up in universe G, Sam goes through and ends up in universe O, etc.
During the Unity scene you see whoever was in your ship with you during the grav jump but they appear as shadows, then when you meet Sarah for the first time in the new universe (if she passed the Unity with you) she tells you that you look familiar but doesn’t exactly recognize you.
She tells you that anyway and then tells Vasco to identify you, she has never been on ship and has used this line all 8 times so far.
When our characters 'jump,' it's always to the same place, and same point in time. Which lore wise doesn't make sense if it's suppose to be because of the artifact, since Barrett is the only other member said to have seen the vision. Where/what is the point to where anyone else would always return to?
All that just to say. I believe that, within lore, it would be almost impossible for two people to meet. At least on the first try, and you could spend eternity trying to find each other.
