Also if there is any starport that allows you to customise on the planet you could try move a turret on your ship and fix it!

Understood. I was actually listing a way the user (may be able) to respawn their ship.

No-one seamed to have picked up on it. lol.
Let's just say it out loud : u re not going home :D
Go to the ship technician to make changes to your ship.
Make a structural change to your ship, remove a piece or add a new piece.
Close the menu walk over to your ship to make sure it spawned in.
Go back to the ship technician and undo what ever change you made to your ship.
Now your ship should be there and you can fast travel/travel as normal.
Did you use the mod to own more ships then 10?
Reload a prioer save.
If that does not work.
Start a new game.
