3070 Settings
So this is what I'm rocking on the 3070. Smoothest game play, I've experienced is mostly on medium. Tweak from here to your hearts content. The game doesn't look bad on medium at all. Visually I can't see a difference personally between high and a custom medium setup, the performance is just better. Some would say it just works.

Dynamic Resolution: On
Render Resolution: 75%
Shadow Quality: Medium
Indirect Lighting: High
Reflections: Medium
Particle Quality: Low
Volumetric Lighting: Low
Crowd Density: Low (The wandering NPC's are dumb and ugly anyway lol)
Motion Blur: off
GTAO Quality: Medium
Grass Quality: High
Contact Shadows: Medium
Vysnch: ON
Upscaling: FSR2
Enable VRS: On

Film Grain: Whatever
Sharpness: Whatever

you are not getting crashes with FSR on? on your 3070
cause i faced constant crashes (character menu, terminals, lockpicking) until i disabled FSR

1080? 1440?
TazzieDevil Sep 1, 2023 @ 1:57pm
I'm playing on a 3070ti on high, without motion blur or depth of field as I don't like it. I'm on 3440x1440 and having zero problems with FSR.

70% resolution scale is crazy for a 3070.

What a POS game.

I have a 3060 and 2k monitor and my fps and visuals improved drastically after I installed the DLSS mod from nexus. I highly recommend it over FSR.

It's just most people are size queens. If my menu doesn't say ULTRA - game bad. Just shut up and try lower settings peeps you'll have more fun.

5800X, 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM, and a 3070. Running the DLSS mod at 58% scaling (DLSS Balanced equivalent)

Feels really rough at 1440p. Game hovers at the high 50s, but oddly on Kreet when I fought the raiders outside the research base my fps just tanked to the 30s for a couple minutes before it recovered to the 50s. Why is there no textures option?

the funny thing is that i got not much bad to say about performance in general
i didn't expect a technical marvel comin from Bethesda, and funny enough with FSR i see no crashes now? don't know why this kept on happening first time around.
i mean there's something to be said about having to upscale on 1080p resolutions...
i can keep most settings at high (filmgrain off) and the fps are okay. not great, not what they should be, but it's not nightmareish. CP ran way better out of the gate back then.
frankly i could live with some locked 30 FPS mode, like consols seemed to have.
