Post your character idea's you're going to Roleplay as

For me I intend to play Beast Hunter/Xenobiologist background character who was born in the Freestar Collective. They spent their life hunting dangerous beasts with their parents, and over time found a passion in dissecting and understanding the biology of the beasts they kill to be more effective and understand their patterns. They also will have a hobby for cooking using what remains of their carcass.

I'm liking going to use just really big semi-auto or single shot rifles, snipers/leveractions, bolt action preferably if there's something like that.

What kind of idea's have you guys thought of for who/what you want to roleplay as?

My first play through is a self insert character. I always make a stylized version or myself and just play as tho it was me adjacent.

As much of a thief/smuggler/bounty hunter as the game will permit. How much will it let me run with this? We don't know yet. There is contraband you can smuggle. There are bounties you can claim. There are at least a couple of factions that might be appealing to this approach to play, as well. So we'll see, but I'm trying it out, and ignoring as much of the main quest as the game lets me (I'm aware some of it has to be experienced to get access to core game elements.)

Ima kinda switching and popping between going somesorrt of bigguns build, because I LOVE DAKKA AND I NEED MORE DAKKKKAAAKAKAKDAKADKAKAKAAA.... Or... On the other hand I was pondering around somesort of stealthy cyberninja that uses melee/unarmed to do some sneaky stealth takedowns and if needed can use silenced weapons for ranged combat.
