Would you use FSR 3 in Starfield?

I have seen that AMD is going to launch FSR 3 on September 6th (the same day Starfield is released.)

If FSR 3 is in Starfield on September 6th will you be using it?

Yup, as we got nothing else to choose from, but FSR2 seems more likely from what i've seen people have been discussing about it

I'd rather use DLSS, but since that won't be an option, I would use whatever gave some benefits.

I mean, I'd turn it on and see what happened. I've tried 1 and 2 at the quality end of the slider and the visual difference was so minuscule I could not pinpoint what if anything had changed, so it was just a bit of free performance.

I have a 4090 so, no, probably not. Hasn't made any real difference in any game so far.

4090 so doubt I would notice. Will not miss DLSS either most likely.

Don't know, I've never used FSR before. I'll see how it looks and plays and decide then. I'm sure my 3080 will handle 1440p pretty okay without it.

Its curious though the list of FSR 3.0 games does not include Starfield and also not all FSR 3 features are available on all cards, some are specific to the highest end 7000 series and some of the features even AMD says recommends not to use below 6000 series cards. AMD also said FSR 3 features will roll out over a few months so the full set of features wont be immediately available in September at initial rollout. First games to get it is Immortals of Avenum and Forspoken.

Not unless it's absolutely necessary to hit 60fps at 4K. I bought a 4090 to avoid using reconstruction techniques for as long as possible.
