Does anyone know how long the Story is on the 3. DLC?
and we might not know anything about it for quite some time since it will not be available day one, it comes sometimes after the release.
^ this. Also while you're at it can someone tell me the average playtime of the main story line for Fallout 5? Not like all the side quests and stuff, just the main story.
Since the base game is supposedly 30-40 hours long, I think the expansion will be about 7 hours. Fallout 4's biggest dlc far harbour was about that length as well. Note that the length mentionedis if the player only concentrates on the main quest and nothing else.
What I've been thinking is that they might not offer a total "Season Pass" to all the DLC, after Fallout 4's whole "Buy the Season Pass for $X. . . oh, whoops, we want to make more DLC, we're raising the Season Pass price, but all of you who bought it at the lower price don't have to pay more" thing.
But we'll have to wait and see what happens. /shrug
(They could always sell the Season Pass with a specific list of DLC - rather than "all of them!" - and if they decide to make more, sell a "Season Pass 2" with the rest of them. But this is all guesses and supposition.)
Concurred. I'm expecting they probably won't do a season pass as they likely learned from trying it with Fallout 4. I'm thinking we will see something more akin to Oblivion/Skyrim where they do around 3 or so story DLCs, and then will make a GOTY version with the DLCs included along side a DLC bundle once all of the DLCs have been released. (Assuming it is GOTY in at least some awards thing somewhere). Otherwise "special edition" version.
But this is all guesses and speculation at this point
Yep but regardless of what happens eventually, I don't think they will leave the shattered space expansion out of the season pass. So if they do include shattered space as part of the season pass, those who buy the expansion (be it as part of premium or as a separate dlc) could end up "double paying" for shattered space as part of the season pass unless they offer a reasonable (eg 25%) discount for those who already owned the dlc prior to the sale of the season pass. That's my primary worry and reason for not getting premium.
