And I'm just going to say your going to have a very hard time with your rig playing Starfield I wouldn't expect 60fps.
OS: Windows 10/11 with updates.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel i5-10600K.
Memory: 16 GB RAM.
Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080.
DirectX: Version 12.
Network: Broadband Internet connection.
Storage: 125 GB available space.
Additional Notes: SSD Required.
So just to be clear you could play in 1440p with your computer OP the question really is would you want too?
I think not.
Your chances would have been a lot better had you had a Ryzen 7 or better a 9 and a GTX 1080Ti.
That extra compute power and vram would have made the difference.
1080p 60 FPS, medium graphics.
That is my bet.
Its 2023, those specs are old as dirt and stuff out now is far better.
Most people asking are bringing older stuff still and not the best of the old stuff, there are old machines in the way back that would still crush this game coming but they have a lot of great hardware in them.
I think that the optimal recommendations would be to play the same as on an xbox series x otherwise it wouldn't make much sense, don't you think? I think that to play at 1080p 60 fps the requirements will be somewhat lower.
Oh I see so your saying that those specs are what you need to play in 4K at 30 FPS on medium settings.
Well by all means go tell everybody that.
Wont work out though because I play in 4K on my machine and I know whats what.
You want 4K for this game, you need a RTX 4080 or a AMD XTX flagship,
With a i7 13700 or AMD 7800x.
And you better bring DDR5 48 gig RAM kit with 7200 mhz dont fool around, even easier go with a DDR5 64 gig 6400 kit might be able to get a Corsair version of that RAM at 7200 speed.
EVGA z690 Kingpin
i9 12900K
ASUS Ryjiin II 360 AIO cooler
Trident Gskill 32 gig 6400 RAM
Samsung 980 Pro 2TB
RTX 4090 MSI Liquid Suprim X
1300 Watt EVGA Gold
Hyat Y60 Case
4K gaming,
Modded SkyrimSE 4K ~90 FPS,
Modded Fallout 4 ~115 FPS
Cyberpunk 2077
Full graphics Pyscho RT, DLSS Auto, Frame Generation On ~155 FPS
And you want to say that a creation engine game will do 4K high fps, better than Cyberpunk 2077?
Maybe if they improve the engine as much as they did between SkyrimSE and Fallout 4 but only way to know is when it comes out.
That is my gaming machine, and its a beast.
Been waiting on Raptor Lake Refresh coming at end of the year to get a 14700 or 14900 and will be picking up some new 7200 speed RAM kit this summer.
Now sure, maybe people are ok with playing in 30 FPS, but that's crazy.
Just reduce the resolution down to 1440 or 1080p to get actually good frame rates and that is what the majority of gamers on PC will do.
Oh so what are you offering?
Nothing of importance.
But for sake of completeness,
without DLSS or frame generation can still get respectable
Pyscho Ray Tracing ~60 FPS.
Path Tracing (most advanced version) ~35 FPS
SkyrimSE no mods ~125 FPS
Fallout 4 no mods ~144
My monitor is 144Hrz and both those games do not come with built in monitoring tools as does Cyberpunk 2077, so have to use MSI Afterburner which will not see FPS above refresh rate of monitor.
Wait for starfield to come out and then compare the two.
If you want the higher res you'll need to upgrade to the cards that can handle that resolution.
