Support for 21:9 and H.O.T.A.S

Anyone knows the state of the art for 21:9 and HOTAS support ?

No one knows, but safe bet is no niche market support as this has been what they've done in the past. The res will probably get a workaround and mods for the UI. The flight support though... I seriously doubt it. This is NOT a flight/space flight sim.

When I get to config my HOTAS in No Man's Sky for flight controll, the experience just boosted. I used K/M for on-foot controls of course, and the best is that I did it without mods or other things, only with the Steam controller settings.

I get this hate when i ask for 21:9 support and all the 16;9 kiddies freak out saying how everyone should play on the same hardware because they stick to the standards.

This. I can't remember the last AAA video game that had proper flight controls.

I played Star Wars Squadrons for 5 minutes before alt f4ing and uninstallling. What happened to controls like in Freespace and Sturmovik?

Yea I've been searching if it had 21:9 support also got nothing yet I don't think they showed anything pc wise except the requirements.

As soon as they were talking about managing energy and things I was thinking back to Freespace games with a HOTAS. Here's hoping they'll support it, and not just crappy joypad stuff.

I'd love that, but it looks that spaces combat is still white arcade style. I could be wrong though.

Agreed. And no place is worse in this aspect than the Steam forums.

Oh, and a tip; Don't EVER ask for VR support, even if the previous game had support. You will be flogged, then drawn and quartered.

I got bored with the space campaign version of the ground campaign of SW Battlefront II.
