Sorry we won't be chatting much in a few mins ... we'll say hi later ...
It'll be fine ... trust me ... I'm an expert
These are not scraps. These are the historic remains of a once great society of hair.
Performance for me on an aging area51-m laptop ( i9-9900K, 2080 Super, 64Gb RAM) is good, solid 60 fps in most areas, higher in some. Lowest I've seen is 38 but that was transient.
Color is good, sound seems a bit tinny to me but I'm not really complaining.
I am getting used to the controls, even flying controls, on keyboard and mouse. Gameplay, I am liking it, but i haven't even scratched the surface yet so I am still trying to figure it out, but so far I am impressed
Noticed bilagos config tool has made a comeback:

And we already have an updated B.A.E.:

I guess that means texture and mesh replacers are now on the table.
I just knew the universe was going to be like that … when will I learn not to go around touching artefacts on my first day on the job …. Seriously… I’ve just got there and was perfectly happy being a miner with my new cutter … best cutter I’d ever had … but no … “Ohhh look, an artefact … nothings ever went wrong when you touch one of them” …
So now … I’ll have to save the bloody universe from whatever crap is coming my way.
Hopefully, all the other factions will just take pity on me … let me save the universe by the weekend without getting in the way … give me a superduper new cutter with my name engraved upon it … and then bugger off and leave me alone.
Why is it always me who has to do things … I mean, if the universe actually did need saving in real life and word reached the Old Farts that I had been the man chosen for the job … well, I’m sure you’d all be sitting there saying “I’m not sure about this”.
Just because I’m the spitting double of Brad Pitt doesn’t mean to say that I have “universe saviour” listed as an attribute on my LinkedIn profile.
It took me 5mins to find which button was crouch and I only found the first weapon after the battle was over … not a good start.
And who on earth (or … who in space) thought it was a good idea to me of all people the keys to a spaceship that the baddies also want when a battered old heap of rust as a training ship would’ve been a better idea.
Ah well … gotta go … theres a universe needing saving ….
We’ve got our first pinned topic now …. and so it begins …
