This isn't a post to shade people that pre-order! Not my or anybody else business what people do with their money.

I'm curious of how many has pre-ordered and why did you pre-order ? I'm curious what other peoples reasons are for it.

For me, waiting till i see the reviews. 70€ is a-lot of money in the end. Rather pay it when i have more information about the game from people who have played it.

Hello, i preordered premium becouse Bethesda rpgs are my favourite since Arena.
Lot of freedom and actually an option to solve the story as You like and in your own pace are the top sellers for me not to mention at least 500 hours in each title so far.

I did because I am going to get this game anyway. Even if reviews were negative, after what we've seen so far, I just wouldn't believe them and buy it anyway.

And someone will have to play it in order for there to be reviews, right? So not everyone can hold off and wait.

Preordered because a) I've never regretted buying a single BGS SP RPG and b) $100 now or $100 in September is the same $100 and I'm going to buy it anyway. Also, important point to note, you still have two weeks from release to refund. There's 0 risk, no loss.

If you want to wait a week and see the reviews, you still can. However, I'm sure we'll be seeing day 1 reviews. No one wants to be the last media agency to post a review and they'll all have copies at least five days prior.

In fact, the only reason to not preorder is that you either can't afford it or are a cheapskate who wants to play day 1, but can't justify buying anything without a discount. Hence all of the hugely negative, sour grapes posts about preordering.

I did pre-order the game because I've enjoyed every Fallout game, including Fallout 76. Since my health is declining, this will probably be one of the final games I purchase.
Been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced

I can't let my husband play alone and then just watch. I did that with Fallout 3. Really thought what a bad game until I started playing it too. Never be disappointed. Not with FO3, FONV, Skyrim, Fallout4. So we got both the premium edtion and will will play it together next to each other and having a lot of fun :D

Even the weakest BGS release (F4) has kept me busy for a stupid amount of hours. It's a proven track record so I don't have much reason to doubt that even should Starfield be weaker it'll still give me oodles of time spent. I'd be buying it at launch otherwise anyway so I don't have much reason not to just earlier and forget about it. And the gameplay deep dive made me a rather optimistic creature about the state of the game, had I been on the fence a bit more it might've still pushed me over.

anything more is a bonus.

there's stuff/design choices I'm bound to find irritating but, on the whole, this "series" of games gives me many hours of entertainment.

my expectations are deliberately low but im cautiously optimistic.

Not yet - I don't particularly care about the pre-order bonus skins. If I do pre-order, it'll be a couple days before release so I can do a pre-load. Of course, this'll only be if there *is* a pre-load option.

I will be getting the game day 1, however it happens.

I got paid by gamer activists not to pre-order the game. However, I'm considering convincing a friend to gift me the pre-ordered game.

Really thankful for all the people pre-ordering right now, as those funds will be critical for Bethesda so they can buy plenty of disk space and internet bandwidth to support the millions of people downloading the game in September.
