Marathon man achievement bugged

Hello guys.. did someone have bugged marathon man achievement ? I tried running for 1 hour with stop, with recharging energy,old suit settings, reinstall game, delete saves and still i dont have it.. Would anyone know how to fix this?

question: did you also change your fov before starting to play the game? Did you also change to old suit mode before starting to play the game?

I didnt change fov at all and to old suit settings i change it ingame and in menu too

Broken trash achievement. I just started the game, properly, minutes ago, and after a few seconds of play, got it. I definitely did not run/sprint 3km. I ran maybe 25m or so. (You want it and don't get it after overdoing what is supposed to trigger it, and I didn't want it unearned, but got it anyway, seconds after landing on the beach and moving around a few meters.)

I can't/won't actually play the game because the graphics are totally bugged for me. I mean I can play it, but it looks bugged to hell and back. Tried everything possible via in game settings so it's not game related settings. I'm thinking maybe it is a Windows 7 or DirectX 11 issue? (I'm still "glad" it, technically, runs on 7, so that doesn't bother me, and I'm not yet convinced it's even that.) Notice too, how vague their specifications are on the store page. They do not list DirectX versions even once, like most other normal game's pages do. That in itself is very strange for a major game. But enough about my graphical issue I'm having, I just came to complain I got it erroneously. Seems it goes both ways.

I just got Marathon Man achievement. I simply deleated my saves and started a new game on easy and sprinted a while on the big beach where the first soldiers are.
Saves are at %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\CrysisRemastered and there I deleated the SaveGames and Profiles folders (ofc you can make a backup first).
You will quite fast see if it works as steam will show you the progress of the achievement after every 500m.

i got it too thx for advice.. i think delete profiles folders fix it because i tried gamesaves multiple times

Thanks for this 'fix', I've just 100%'ed this now and this 1 last achievement was bugged out.

I wonder if it's because I changed to the classic suit mode after a level or 2? I got progress in marathon man to just under 2,000mtr then it stopped counting progress around the same time I changed to 'classic suit' mode...hmm. This is the only achievement I've had issue with thankfully.

yeah I think it has something to do with classic mode. I changed to it before starting to play and never saw any progress towards it, but then changing back to new mode did nothing.

I got it unintentionally using the new suit, fwiw.

I had one hell of a time getting this to register. Very frustrating. None of the solutions posted here worked for me. I believe the solution is as follows. The actual achievement reads "Speed Sprint 3Km". That means you have to be in speed mode. I switched to the new suit control mode (e.g., Crysis 2/3). That way when you sprint (L-Shift) you automatically enter speed mode. After I did this I soon received a progress pop-up that I was at 2000/3000 Km. So it had been recording my progress but I wasn't actually running in speed mode that often. Once I figured that out, I just ran around for a little while in speed mode and the achievement popped. I was very happy as that was the only one I was missing so I now have all 40.

I had this same exact issue and I finally got the achievement.

The distance tracking only occurs while you are super-sprinting (consuming suit energy) in the simplified suit control scheme. So "Classic Suit Controls" must be turned OFF.

There is no need to delete any of your data.
