News on Update 1.7 :)

Hey everyone :) Some latest news for you regarding upcoming updates for F1 Manager 2022!

Thank you as always for your feedback on the game, whether that’s via Issue Tracker Tool reports, or the constructive and respectful discussions that we track on the usual platforms. Ever since the early access launch, we’ve been using your reports and feedback to help us prioritise changes that will make the most positive impact on your experience.

Good progress is being made on multiple in-game improvements based on your reports, for Update 1.7. We are currently implementing and testing changes relating to:

- Tyre performance
- Behaviour of cars moving aside when required
- Fuel delta feedback
- UI placement on widescreen monitors 
- Balancing of car part design focus

These tests and checks take time to be done correctly, before moving onto the process of submitting and deploying the game update. If we remain on schedule, we intend to deliver Update 1.7 for F1 Manager 2022 by the end of the week commencing September 19.

We’ll let you know if that changes and, as always, will share more information and full patch notes when we have them.

DRS too strong please fix it. And nerf Bottas/Alfa Romeo & better car for McLaren not 8/10.

@Oasis81: That´s the rude summary from the Patch. The full Information with all Bugfixes, Fine-Tunings, Updates etc. you will get with the full Patch-Notes when they are ready.

And surprisses for the Player are not be scoofed at. Otherwise it would be boring.

Rome was not built in day my friends and too many changes at once is a bad thing. Although I also agree that DRS needs a change it is somewhat less important than the items they are currently working on. This is a large step towards fixing some serious issues with the game providing they get it right of course. I feel that they are doing it in the correct order as changes to the tire performance and wear will undoubtedly affect DRS so we need to see where the dust settles first before making a judgement.

I feel there is nothing wrong with the ERS system at present and it is working satisfactory.

This is great news and finally we have some feedback instead of silence. Thank you Chris I look forward to the update and hope it makes the game more challenging and fun to play at last.

My game keep crashing down to windows. Can you fix that first please?!
To be honest I don´t care about others stuff, when I even cannot play at the first place.
I also hopes that my save is not lost, because I just cannot launch Canada GP race after qualification. (season 1)

I agree with you on DRS and Bottas/Alfa but did McLaren have a better car than 8th on the grid to start the season? Probably not, they were far behind early on and still aren't where they need to be, Lando is putting that car in places it doesn't belong, to be fair, so is Ricciardo, just the other way, lol.

Correct lorenzo_milan. The same get done on Paradox and his Partners as well from the Devs which make the Xenonauts-Row and the Devs which making the UFO-ET-Row.

That´s the best the Devs can do. Working on the Product until Infos can be published Step by Step.

Hello! If you're having trouble launching the game, please ensure you're running the game on a PC that meets the game's spec requirements and have updated your drivers. The vast majority of crash reports we receive are due to these two things.

If your PC meets the specs and you're all updated, please use our Issue Tracker tool to send over a report, including crash reports/DxDiags, and our team will investigate. Thanks :)
