Guide of terms?
I'm not very knowledgeable about racing terms and such is there anything that I can keep handy to study to better understand what all I'm tinkering and how it can affect the car.

Check out guides for F1M22 from Nerobax on youtube. Get all the info you need from those.

The setup has no influence on the car. It only gives like bonus points for the driver iirc. Don't waste your time tinkering with it. There is no real physics calculation behind all these fancy sliders.
