Switch vs PC

[Paralt]

HI all! Which version should I buy? Graphic resolution will obviously be higher on the PC, but the graphics on Persona games don't typically require real world fidelity. I don't care about Denuvo, so that's not an issue for me. PC via Steam will have achievements. Switch will allow me to play any time, anywhere (and I don't plan to buy a Steam Deck).

Thoughts? Anything else I should consider?

Not everything is about graphics and quality.

If as you point out the gameplay content is the same, graphics and quality is the key consideration when choosing which version to purchase, along with price (same), portability (same if you own a Steam Deck), choice of storefronts (lol @ Nintendo), and features like cloud support (free with Steam.)

Of course if Denovo pisses you off that much then buy the Nintendo version (though I am guessing piracy is involved.) But don't pretend the versions are the same.

What are you guessing i own the game on Switch ?
Btw we were talking about "content" not graphics stop misinforming people ans also for the size of the game.

I know P5 is an old game but it was not released on master system, why u need to talk ♥♥♥♥ like that and promote a 60 $ Denuvo game ?

As long as i have 1080 p and 60 FPS i'm good.
Anyway my graphic card can't go 4k why bother with this Denuvo product ?

This emulator argument is just silly
The game will still look worse on a Switch emulator than the PC version even if you run both at 1080p60
It's not just the resolution and framerate that matters in terms of graphics

On the other hand, the Switch version works wonders for portability, especially in regions where we have no chance of sourcing a Steam Deck
But that's on a real Switch, not emulator

It'll look the same as the PS4 version.

Real switch does not allow 60 fps unless you mod it illegally.

This is Nintendo announcement about modding.

If you want to stay legal you buy the switch game, rip it then play it on your emulator and then, finally you can mod your game in a legal way if you stay offline.

I don't think it's possible to play online on Ryujinx yet, but it is possible on Cemu Wii emulator.

Btw everyone knows Switch performances are nothing compared to high end PC i don't understand where you want to go.... OFC pc version has better graphics
I won't talk about Wii U...

Nevertheless, Wii U has the best JRPG of all time that is called Xenoblade chronicles X with an open world no high end pc game can beat (Skyrim is 4km² and Xenoblade 400 with pratically no loading time) and stunning graphics.
You don't need last point of technology to enjoy a product...

The only benefit of an oled is a wider viewing angle and better black mostly on loading screens. Oh, and it is worse on battery life than an LCD. Albeit the SteamDeck has a BIGGER screen so that makes the battery life a wash. I do like my switch for the Fire Emblems and the Pokemons but, the SteamDeck is cool because you can run ALL the imulators and have the massive Steam library of games on the go.

Also, even a trash OLED from 10 years ago covers 100% of sRGB. Hell, even a trash LCD from 10 years ago covers 100% of sRGB.

Steam Deck covers ... less than 70% of sRGB. They couldn't find a worse screen for that garbage if they tried, it's impressively bad :)

I will need a trainer to play this again. Not a big fan of turn base gameplay. Love the music and story though. Will need to play again at some point, but own the game twice on playstation already. So will probably wait for sale.
