$40 overpriced?

Capcom is going to release another compilation (Arcade Stadium 2nd) this month with 32 games for the same price as this Fighting Collection. 6 games from this Fighting Collection will be included there (Darkstalkers, Night Warriors, Vampire Savior, Hyper SF2, Pocket Fighter, Super Puzzle Fighter), just leaving out the less popular ones exclusive to this one (Vampire Savior and Hunter 2, Cyberbots, Red Earth). Oh and you'll also be able to buy any of the 32 games individually.

Now considering how dead the online for the Fighting Collection already is and that leaves you with a package of 10 offline arcade titles, the 2nd Arcade Stadium would give you 3x the amount of content / games for the same price.

One could argue that the Fighting Collection pricing could be justified considering it's QoL features implemented to its competitive nature (training mode, rollback netcode, lobbies, etc.) and that's totally right, except when you release a game that needs its online population to keep its premise alive and you don't even gave a chance for that online community to grow in the first place.

Not using regional prices, no crossplay and releasing it next to a summer sale and 1 month before another compilation from the same developer including the major titles released on this one and 26 other games lol.

You don't even need to bring in fightcade or piracy to this conversation to realize how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up this release was. Personally and considering the region that I live in, yeah it's very expensive, but money is kind of a subjective thing, everybody got their own sense of value to the things they spend their money with so I can only speak for myself and a portion of people from my region (because I saw their reaction) here.

Good luck if you think the sales of this game will kickstart another Darkstalkers title, enjoy your future Morrigan costume in Monster Hunter and Luke dressed as Demitri in SF6 I guess lol

I don't expect another Darkstalkers, I don't play online. I just wanted the 10 games and was willing to pay $40 for them.

I'm going to hold off on the Capcom Arcade Collection 2 until it gets a sale I am willing to buy it at as I have the Street Fighter games, some beat em ups, and the 6 games from this bundle.

Thats fine ill just watch you buy Nintendo rereleases at full price on every single new console, all seperate individual purchases, zero online and definitely zero share play functionality
