I'm too lazy to download it and install it lol
I'm using Windows 10 and it works. What a time to be alive.
The version of DirectStorage this game uses doesn't speed up anything, it just lowers CPU usage when reading files.
damn
I never liked Win10 because of the spying, but other than that, it was a good OS.
Win11 is barely usable.
Once Win10 support stops I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥....
Don't know what your talking about, just un-bloat it like you would windows 10 and change the interface to look like windows 10 and you can't even tell the difference, except cool things like direct storage will work.
Yes, according to PC Gamer: https://www.pcgamer.com/thanks-to-directstorage-forspoken-loads-in-only-one-second/ "GDC is an important event in the PC gaming calendar. Apart from giving developers a chance to show off what they've been working on, it also represents a great time to highlight the technologies that are going to power the games of tomorrow. One of the games that is going to tap into plenty of new technologies is Forspoken(opens in new tab) from Luminous Productions, and it's going to be one of the first games to advantage of Microsoft's DirectStorage(opens in new tab). "
When I just benchmarked it it was loading the maps in around 1 second and 65 FPS with all settings maxed and no upscaling, seems to run pretty good, don't have time to play it atm, as im working.
Yes it does, why else would it load maps in 1 second?..
I have the game installed on a Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB drive.

Welcome to the future...on PC.
No, it is missing tons of features. I'm forced to use it at work and ironically all these missing features are heavily impacting my productivity. Like no drag and drop on the task bar.
It feels light of features and rushed. Feels like an unfinished messed up launch, like a Battlefield 2042 or an Anthem or Avengers.
