번역 관련 문제 보고
You can already go to portrait mode by going to "Advanced display settings", change the screen orientation there, and when you are done with the reading, return to the original settings. Not very straightforward, though.
Would be lovely to have a simplified button for that, or even some kind of option for automatic rotation based on the gyroscope.
Someday... maybe...
While I generally agree that the Deck is really strongest as a gaming device, I understand why some people might want to try and maximize the value they get out of it. Early on, lots of people were talking about plugging a Wacom tablet into it and using it for digital art, or using it for video production and editing.
Desktop or game mode?
/usr/bin/kscreen-doctor output.eDP.rotation.normal
It is undone with
/usr/bin/kscreen-doctor output.eDP.rotation.right
BUT the touch pad mouse won't rotate and the keyboard will be squished and unusable (valve would have fix those things)
THEREFORE I recommend that you instead make custom .desktop files per app that will rotate the screen, run the program and then un-rotate when the app is closed. (You can use the built in window management to maximize or full screen the apps)
