Proton 9 can't be installed - Steam Deck OLED
If I sarch for proton in my library, i find all proton releases.
Every release can be installed except version 9.
Anybody knows a fix for this?

Proton 9 is a huge change.

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/tags

It's still in development.

Wine 9 included WOW 64.

The release reverse engineers how Windows run 32 binaries on 64 bit systems.

Experimental has also recently been rebased to the 9 branch.

Wine 9 have both optional wow 64 and wayland support. Two massive anticipated changes.

The Problem is, when I hit the button „install“, the button color changes from blue to grey but nothing happens. After some time the button is blue again. Right next to the install button it doesn‘t show the size in GB, just: „available for steam“

You shouldn't need to install it. It's already an option in your Compatibility list. Just set the compatibility to Proton 9 Beta and it will download for the game.

Nope, that doesn't work either. Already tried that. When I set compatibility to proton 9 without installing it, the game wants to start and install proton 9, but without success.

If the game has Cloud Saves, try going into the Game Properties, Developer and Delete Proton Files and try it again. Worked for me on OLEd first time.

I went into settings and on its properties page I went to compatibility, there I forced the compatibility tool to Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout). Only then did I manage to be able to install it. Hope this helps.
