IIRC you have to pass the LC_ALL=C variable (locale) and see. You can do that as part of the launch arguments, see this discussion (https://forums.lutris.net/t/locale-error-unsupported-locale-setting/5625)

Odd, that's right. Steam blocks it. Just google LC_ALL=C lutris and you'll come across many discussions.

For the Steam Deck, open the properties for Lutris and in launch arguments just add

LC_ALL=C %command%

That should allow Lutris other languages besides English.

Yeah I’m on steam deck. There is no properties only a preference setting

From what I can tell (the SD is still not available in my region, but I do use desktop Linux) you can do this from the Desktop mode and the launcher for Lutris

Yeah im in desktop mode in lutris. I don’t find this setting. There is only a preference setting on the right sight above in the corner if you click on the 3 dashes

Right click the Lutris Launcher, from the menu select properties and the first tab to left is one that reads General and has the launch options on there. Alternatively click the cog icon to do the same.

Okay but under general there are no launch arguments. And where do i need to add this line? Should i replace everything

Just be absolutely clear. Yo do not see three text fields bellow the shortcut name?? The last is the one you should fill with the above command

Odd, just added Lutris to my Steam library, installed both via Flatpak and my package manager to test and I can launch with the environment variable just fine. At this point I am unsure what may the problem be.

Found a couple guides one on YT, maybe they contain what is missing:

Maybe copy and paste the *points to* line under general….maybe it works Than. When i do it it says * could not save properties due to insufficient write access*

It could be due to the way Lutris is installed via Flatpak, on my system I had to grant it access to several locations where I do have the games via flatseal

I already watched that video. None of those give that info. It’s like nobody uses lutris. Maybe heroic launcher works better
