Steam OS for Desktop missing FPS options

I cant seem to find the options to display the FPS on the screen in Steam OS.
Im missing the performance Tab.

Anyone know a Steamtool i can use?

The display tool is called mangohud. The Deck's gaming mode has that integrated as mangoapp. In desktop mode you'd install mangohud and then invoke it by setting mangohud %command% as the game's launch option.

Just the framerate (so not the RAM usage, temps, and everything) you can display just with the normal Steam overlay.

do you know how to open the steamoverlay ?
unfortunately i cant seem to make mangohud run. adding the paramter mangohud %command% in the launch options makes all games crash
