Ordered a steam deck and dock. Still not arrived.

Hi all, wondering if anyone else has ordered a steam deck recently and hasn’t received theirs yet.

I put in for my order on the 19th of Nov and it had arrived at the gls center on the 20th. Both my steam deck and my dock left the parcel center in the Netherlands on the 22nd. It’s now the 26th and I have no updates on where it is. I’m in Ireland.

I know it’s the holidays and there might be delays but I’m also worried since everyone has complained about gls and how terrible their service is. How long should I wait before I contact valve about it?

You might as well contact them now. It'll take a while for them to get back to you, and if your stuff arrives in the meantime it's no problem to say "it's here, all good."

I was thinking that. Surely from the Netherlands it should be here by now.

Always best to contact them if you're concerned, try not to stress to much about it though.

I'm sure you'll get your Steam Deck eventually.

I sound like an impatient child but I don’t mind waiting. I just seen people have received theirs within the 3-5 days.

Yeah, both of mine arrived within a week. It can be frustrating when carriers are really opaque. There might be perfectly fine reasons why a package got held up somewhere - wind slowed down the ship, the forklift driver was sick, the paperwork fell down a drain, whatever - but you're just left pacing if they don't tell you what's going on.

I do tend to overthink and think the worst either it got lost or someone along the way took it from themselves. Here’s hoping it arrives safely

I ordered mine and it said 6-10 days, I guess it all depends how busy they are with the deliveries as it's in high demand, I assume if it wasnt then it'd be 3-5 days.

Either way I'm also eagerly awaiting a Steam Deck

My Deck arrived on Monday, but I did have issues with parcelforce who blamed GLS, supposedly not including the full address on the package / system. Delivery therefore failed last Friday and it was rescheduled for Monday after a lot of back and forth with ParcelForce. I'd say it's never too early to contact these courier services.

I'm in the same position as you.

I ordered my Steam Deck White on the 18th at 11:04 pm my time (4 minutes after the release of the Steam Deck), and It didn't arrive yet.
The worst part of that, is GLS doesn't update their tracking website since monday afternoon, so at this point, I just don't know where my package is.

Here’s a quick update for you all.
I got my steam deck today. (Arrived in Ireland yesterday) and my Y button right out the box isn’t working 😭🔫 I’ve contacted valve about it. I’ve tried recalibrating the controls and even did a factory reset. Seems to be a hardware issue.
