Steam Deck

Steam Deck

does the deck have loudness equalization?
in windows 10 & 11 there is a feature called loudness equalization. it's good for your hearing and I turn it on whenever I use headphones.

does the deck have anything similar? built-in system wide eq to protect your hearing while playing games on your headphone?

thanks in advance

I am almost certain it does not, but you can generate one with PulseEffects in Desktop mode.

PulseEffects appears to have been renamed to EasyEffects[github.com], so that's probably the one you want.
You should also be able to do it by mucking around with PipeWire manually, but this looks a lot easier.
