Emu deck on steam deck
Trying to get emudeck specifically the ps2 emulator but can’t figure out how to install games. I’m trying to do it with internal storage instead of hard drives but all the tutorials I’m finding are for hard drive. Anyone know of any videos for internal storage?

I only have emudeck, every video acts as if I already have the game files when that’s the one thing I need. Idk the difference between Roms and bios but trying to get those for ps2 games like the old Medal of Honor games if that makes sense. I’d pay someone to teach me how to get that stuff because those types of games were my childhood

Google will be your best friend! 😁

While emulators are completely legal, downloading game ROMs and BIOSes is illegal.
Legally you can dump your own ROMs and BIOS to use on the emulators.

On the setup just choose the "Internal Storage" option.
I don't know how the setup is right now (did mine a few version ago), you may need to choose the "Custom Mode" instead of "Easy Mode" to see this option.

How do I dump my own though. The ps2 one says I’m missing bios but I’m still confused how I get that bio and then the games. Google is only showing for external storage sources from what I can find. What video did you watch or what did you search to find out how to do it?

FWIW, I used RetroDeck rather than EmuDeck and it was really straightforward. Drop the games in a particular directory and they show up (and can automatically grab artwork) in the Deck's game mode.

I understand and I don’t want to get y’all or myself in trouble but I appreciate it

You need a PS2 bios and the Roms need to be placed in the folder emulation/Roms/PS2 ( same storage location where you installed emudeck)

What you're asking for isn't able to be discussed here. Not that the information can't be easily found with a quick search...

Surprisingly, Microsoft Copilot has saved me a lot of time. It quickly finds a specific solution.
