Steam Deck
Smart Access Memory / DirectStorage support
Will the Steam Deck (because of the NVMe requirements are met imo) support Smart Access Memory / Resizable BAR and or DirectStorage? :)

I'm pretty sure SAM / Resizable BAR requires a proper GPU so will have no effect here, DirectStorage is Windows only for now.
Resizable BAR has been in Linux for a while already.

The mechanism that's the equivalent of DirectStorage is Peer-to-Peer Direct Memory Access.[www.kernel.org] Historically that's been used for network traffic; I don't know how much progress has been made on using it for GPUs.
For the most part on Linux it's in the API and the NVMe interface that would need the direct access. I can only imagine the speed at which the games can process due to switching the PCIe directly into the GPU.
