I mean yeah trying to use it on a high resolution display at native resolution would be silly, but with scaling or up to 1440p native it should be acceptable.
I don't talk about running it in an higher resolution but running it to a 1440P resolution on a screen is rather absurd.
I agree tons are having that, me included for one of my screens but if I ever plug it, I'll have a 1080P TV dedicated to this, but certainly not 1400P and hoping it run decent LOL.
My tablet is 10 inches, add controls to each side and that makes it massive. No way would that be comfortable to hold.
I agree about having thinner bezels though. The bezels make it ugly.
I mean, it's fine. It's already a beastly monster of a handheld. I would hardly call it pocket friendly. I'm likely going to be playing a lot of games that have console ports as well, because those games are meant to be played from couch distance anyway, and are more controller friendly.
Look for the "One X Player" its a Handheld PC with a Bigger screen and higher Resolution. Not Many are in Stock anymore
Problem 1 - too expensive for what it is and represents.
Problem 2 - too loud
Problem 3 - not great OS for handled, apparently.
Steam can't bend spacetime and find an iGPU from the year 2066 that'll run every game in perfect 4k 240hz.
A folding screen would also massively drive the cost up and make the Deck absurdly fragile, and even more heavy. Folding screens are cool but right now, the tech for them blows.
The two things I don't like about the steam deck is that
1. There's only one USB-C, maybe even a third on the bottom (However Switch patents might be an issue
2. The bevel is very similar to the Switch.
However I don't think it'll matter that much
I do like having a bezelless phone.

I suspect a lot of electronic is under it too. So doing it might require bigger device.
