Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is not playable anymore.

I wanted to bring this up here because I got the game for my partner to play with her over her SteamDeck (well my Steamdeck but anyone with a long term partner knows how it is).

The game is marked as playable just needing some fiddling.
However as i found out AFTER the purchase, the game doesn't play/work any more on a Steamdeck due to EAs latest Anticheat.

Clearly that marking needs to be removed before more people loose their money this way when wanting to purchase it for the SteamDeck.

EA decided to implement a new kernel level anti cheat that won't run on Linux unless they want to, also if you want to be sure something could run you should check protondb.com , there you can check any steam game and see if people got it working of if new problems crop up

I am aware. The problem is that the Storepage says Playable, which it is not.
