When I look at this installer file at the Lutris site I however do not see any special winetricks being installed.

Is there a way to install the latest Quicktime itself, not the game? I can install the game by using this version in the video description I found which is how I got my PC copy working again on windows 11 when (after some fiddling) it worked fine on Windows 10: https://youtu.be/dMI6lAnQTnw
It's just QuickTime I need so the movies will work and the latest quicktime as the one that comes with the game causes a lot of glitchy sound.
OK then, if I install the game via Lutris and then replace the files with the updated ones in that video, I should be able to run it without a CD. Does the Lutris script install quicktime7 too or is there a separate script for that?
I've downloaded this abandonware game, and I don't think the rip version has the videos. The lutris site mentions that CD2 should be inserted to play. Maybe the videos are on CD2?
Maybe. I have a no CD crack for my one that included the videos so I maybe I copied them off the disk. I can move those versions across to see. I'll try your advice here and see if that works.
Thanks in advance. 👍
