How can I enable Performance Overlay during screen shots on the 3.5 version.

After I updated the Steam Deck OS to +3.5 performance overlay does not appear on screenshots anymore.

Are there a way to bring them back?

sorry to necro this post, But im wondering the same. It showed up on previous versions of the OS, Im assuming there is an option somewhere Ive missed?

I'm also missing that feature. I tried the screenshot function of the game and also Steam-button + R1-trigger but the overlay is missing on both shots. :(

I couldn't do it for a long time, but I finally solved it!
1.Switch to desktop mode
2.Start 'Discover' software
3.Search for 'mangohud' and install
4.It doesn't matter whether you are in desktop mode or game mode, press the gear icon to the right of the green colored 'PLAY' button for the software you want to display.
Select 'Properties...'.
5. Choose 'General', 'Advanced users may choose to enter modifications to their launch options' 's input text area, copy & paste this.

After then, lanunch pasted text's game.

Discover's package of mangohud can't show horizontal style at desktop mode. But we can display it.
To show the horizon (preset 2) at the desktop mode, we have to compile and install mangohud from github.
But, I feel difficult, so don't challenge, and I always play at game mode.

How do you guys not have overlay hud on your screenshots. I always have it and want to get rid of it on screencaps without disabling this feature.
