Just like you the DualSense gyro ONLY works in Desktop Mode, but is completely unresponsive in Gaming Mode.
Why is this taking so long to fix, Valve? It's a key feature of Steam Input.
I don't think Valve knows they broke it.
The weird thing is that the gyro does "work" inside Steam in both game and desktop mode if you go into "controller > calibration & advanced settings > gyro calibration" - all axis are correctly detected. But once you get into emulators, it's not detected as a controller with a gyro, in either mode.
Remember to use the word "regression," since it worked before and now doesn't.
