Using the Steam Deck as an Audio Input for Android Phone via 3.5mm Male-to-Male Jack?
I recently picked up my Steam Deck, and while I'm absolutely loving the gaming experience on it, I had a thought: Can I use my Steam Deck as an audio input device for my Android phone using a 3.5mm male-to-male jack cable?

For context, I'd like to play some music/podcasts from my phone and have it output through the Steam Deck's speakers.

Has anyone tried this or have any knowledge on how this could be done? Or is there any hardware/software/configuration required to make it work seamlessly?

Any insights or suggestions would be much appreciated!

You'd need to go in on the mic input, which means you'd need a particular multipole cable arrangement rather than a straight stereo.

However, if you connect your phone to your Deck over Bluetooth then your phone's audio will come out of the Deck.
