Discover fetching updates but no update shown for any app
So I've been having an issue with the Discover update feature in Desktop mode. The other day I noticed I was running an outdated version of an app. Then I noticed many of my other installed apps were on older versions from what the most recent source was. I went to the Discover store and went to the updates tab on the bottom left to fetch any updates I might have missed. I let it run it's thing and then it just tells me everything is "up to date". However, I know that not to be true because if I actually launch a specific application, I can tell within I'm on an older build.

I've been scouring different threads with different issues on the Discover store (e.g. getting stuck on Downloading updates completely, not showing installed apps, etc) and have tried the various following methods.

1) Tried the flatpak repair command with these 3 lines:
flatpak repair
systemctl restart flatpak-system-helper.service
flatpak update

2) Tried another command:
flatpak update --appstream

3) Tried the whole disable wifi/shutdown thing in order:
Disable wifi
Shutdown
Boot Up
Enable wifi (tried both enabling wifi after boot up in Steam OS, and then only after booting up in Desktop mode)

All 3 possible solutions have yielded the same thing. It'll fetch for updates, but no update for any of my installed apps shown. My temporary solution was then to just use the command line "flatpak update --app inserthostname" for each specific app I wanted to update. That worked fine but was cumbersome and time consuming.

Is there a way to fix this Discover store issue that I am having? I saw another thread where someone mentioned to try to delete/remove the flathub repository in the settings tab. I was going to attempt to delete it and then re-add it, but upon deletion it gives me a warning that it will "uninstall" all of my associated apps. I don't want to go through the headache of losing all the work I've done to set up specific apps so I decided to cancel on doing that.

It says my Flatpak source is called Flathub - dl.flathub.org. I saw a mention of a beta repository that is from - https://flathub.org/beta-repo/flathub-beta.flatpakrepo
How can I tell which repo I am pulling from? Is it safe to delete my current one without losing all of my installed apps, and then re-adding a different source?
