You should be aware that racing games can be a bit disorienting when trying to use tilt controls on the Deck because you're not only moving the controller, but the entire screen. The greater you turn the wheel, the more you tilt the screen. You can adjust the inner and outer deadzones, which will affect how far you have to tilt the Deck to steer.
Setting the gyro to right stick to look around from inside the car is a pretty cool experience. It gives you sort of a VR feel like you're moving your head as the driver.
One last thing to consider is the screen is a lot smaller than a monitor, so for some racing games it can be harder to see what's ahead of you than others.
…As long as I can tilt the device to steer, that’s the main thing. Thank you for your replies!
The gyro on the Deck can be set to either one. So you can set it up to tilt-steer or you can set it to look around when you tilt the Deck.
