RMA would be my only option. I have an Identical Steam Deck here that has had zero issues, so as far as I'm concerned (assuming that we can't figure out a fix) there must be a fault with the device.
The issue seems to have fixed itself, sorry I've not been any help!
We think it may have been an issue with his Virgin router but we can't be too sure.
I'll leave this open, just in case anyone can offer a fix :)
Just as I tried to connect to my cell phone Hotspot, I went into the wifi setting @ desktop mode and remove any other extra unwanted wifi, and only one wifi option left inside. Suddenly the download speed shoots up. Basically removing all other extra wifi fixes my problem not sure would it work for you guys though.
