Would tiny Kano webcam be usable with Steam Deck?

This tiny webcam on a foldable stiff cord has a USB-A port, but with an adapter to USB-C it should plug into the Steam Deck: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/kano-1080p-hd-webcam-flexible-macro-privacy-mode/6441690.p?skuId=6441690 . My question is would Linux support it? I have no idea about the driver compatibility for this device at all.

Why in this era of covid, when people are forced to use long distance solutions to check on each other and air flights being canceled etc. is a perfectly legitimate question about adding video conferencing functionality to Steam Deck being met with a distasteful comment????

remember, Linux kernel supports the UVC standards (USB video class). This means "built-in" drivers if the cam/video input device is built to standards.

UVC devices are not just webcams but USB HDMI or AV Composite capture devices (which appear as 480/720/1080/2K/4K webcams.)
