because you look bad tutorials. you need to edit the "to steam added setup" to the launcher. if you don't do that, he create a new fake windows folder structure (its called wineprefix if you want to google for it) for compatibility that don't have the bnet installed.

rather than battlenet itself, check which games you are planning to run. for that, go to lutris:

https://lutris.net/

ie
https://lutris.net/games?q=warcraft
https://lutris.net/games/starcraft-remastered/

this because lutris provides help to "auto-install" the games, and if they need battlenet, it will be included in the process.

to install lutris, you will need to run:
$ sudo pacman -S lutris

if you are unable to install a game, or it isnt working properly, you may need to install or update other file dependencies:

$ sudo pacman -Syu wine winetricks wine-mono wine_gecko vulkan-icd-loader lib32-vulkan-icd-loader vkd3d lib32-vkd3d gvfs

consider that before you try this or installing new stuff, you should make a backup of your os in case a future os update creates problems.

btw, after installing lutris, you dont need to browse the website to find the games or "installer scripts". the program gives you the option to search them directly.

Stop spewing these Arch commands. You can't use any of them anyways since the OS is read-only

You can disable the read-only restriction on the OS.

and what then? it's read only since any changes you do will be overwritten with a software update

This could be of some help. Lutris Flatpak Beta install HOWTO -- until it's on Flathub.org that is. Then you'll find it in the Discover app.
