Found a fix? Hold Select + Start whilst the controller is connected, it should rumble.
Apparently you can configure the controllers inputs manually, Xinput is Select + X.
Weird, have a look at this guide. https://www.reddit.com/r/8bitdo/comments/10y77fm/ultimate_bluetooth_controller_xinputdinputswitch/
Disable steam input, & it should work now.

If you have a DualSense controller, you're going to want Special K, because it translates the game's Impulse Triggers to PlayStation Adaptive Triggers.
If you have anything else, then you need the standalone DLL listed at the bottom.
You can't use Steam Input to translate non-Xbox controllers to GameInput, and you need the GameInput server running. DS4Windows is sufficient to get NIntendo Switch and PlayStation controllers working, Steam Input can't handle this API.
The standalone DLL in my post will work whether you're on Linux or Windows.
