IDP.Generic Virus

I recently purchased the game Forever Skies on Steam.
When I ran it for the first time, my PC had just come from a repair with the OS installed from scratch, my Anti Virus gave me a warning that the file ForeverSkies-Win64-Shipping.exe was infected by the IDP.Generic Virus.
This is the first time that a game purchased on Steam has done this to me.
My question is the following, is the file really infected or is it a false positive?
