Ship conversion& Balloon removal

Hello,
why is it not possible to remove the balloon completely from the ship when it has completely landed on a platform? It is very difficult to rebuild the ship if the balloon cannot be removed. It also makes no sense not to be able to do this after a complete landing.

Furthermore, the balloon could not be attached to the second floor after the extension with a staircase leading up. This could possibly be a bug?!

It allso would be nice if you could rotate the baloon foundation on the invertet small cockpits.
