While we are at it -- a command screen could be cool. It'd show the above information, but also water reserves for gardening, ship damage, ship power (if implemented) ... that whole deal.
And I certainly do not want the nightmare and mess of piping to my engines.
Find new towers. The world is procedurally generated and infinite, so just head in a random direction until you see an icon for the POI you want.
Sorry if I was not clear. There are multiple (4?) types of lift towers. They are tracked separately. Find a _new_ type, one you haven't seen before. Each type should be worth a pretty big haul of crystals if you explore completely.
I suspect the future story chapters will include more expansions to the underdust, so I don't think we will have to worry about running out before the end of the game. (Although you might not be able to play the same save for an infinite amount of time.)
