Unable to connect with friends

What's wrong with me not being able to play online with my friends?

Sorry you are having problems. Is there any kind of message or error that pops up when this happens? Looking thru information. It appears Steam has been having some issues with coop. This game as many others use Steam for coop. This might be related. Would still be interested if you are getting any messages or errors. Thanks.

Did the one hosting complete the tutorial? Their game gives them a message when it opens up for other players (usually when they take off from the starter tower).

I clicked Join Friends from steam but nothing happened, we were just hanging out the day before

Have you both tried exiting Steam and reloading the app itself? This should reset and update Steam. Hopefully this will let you back into coop play. This sounds more like a Steam issue than a game one. If it persist you might make a Steam Ticket.

Of course we tried! But restarting the game, restarting steam, or even restarting the computer didn't work

I have exactly the same problem. There was a steam update about 30 minutes ago, and now coop doesnt work anymore. Tried to repair files, but didnt help.

Apologies, I went and checked with the Devs themselves. Apparently Steam is having issues at this time. Has for like the last 24 hours. So it will have to be a fix from them unfortunately. If there is anything else we can help with please feel free to message.

Not having P2P as an option sucks, considering co-op is the only reason I brought this game.

To do p2p would required a whole rewrite of the game unfortunately. Steam is usually pretty good about fixing issue quickly. So most devs use them now. I hope all is up and woking for everyone.
