Multiplayer / Co-op unavailable
Anyone else experiences difficulties joining and/or hosting multiplayer games now? I am not able to find any online lobbies, and when I try to host a game myself, my buddies are unable to join my game, it isn't listed anywhere, and it is impossible to join the game via Steam invite system. Same situation happens when my friend hosts the server. Also, interesting detail, — when I host the game, there's usually a 'Manage Session' button in the ESC game menu, now there's no button and the game pauses itself when ESC menu opens, implying that I'm currently offline and in a single-player mode. Is this related to some sort of server outage or something?

Server down maybe?
Me & my friends suddenly got crashed and cannot rejoin.
Also cannot even find public lobby
That was my thought. And if its true, this raises a big concern about game's availability in the future. I mean, if multiplayer relates on developer-hosted servers and not P2P / Steam connectivity functionality, the game's multiplayer will become obsolete and unavailable once game support cycle is ended and developer shuts down their servers. It will be great if developer (or its representatives) would comment on this case and clarify everything.
Played with my wife all last night.
Woke up this morning and cannot host multiplayer session anymore.
Also yes, the manage session button doesn't exist. When I close the current game I get bumped back to the main menu and there's an error "Failed to host game"

Yeupp, seems that the option to invite or join is gone atm.
Couldn't connect to friend's game or find public lobbies. We both tried verifying game files integrity, was able to see public lobbies briefly, but still couldn't join a friend.
Can't join coop either
Still no Coop -.-
Even when co-op was "working" it was still a big issue that I thought would be one of the main things they'd fix ASAP. Co-Op means more players, more players means more money. But for my wife and I when we play we are CONSTANTLY losing frames, freezing, crashing and thats if she can even join my game without hte game crashing on the loading screen. Last attempt we tried 4 different times to play together and every time it crashed for her on the loading screen. So...when it's "working" it's still broken. Please fix asap, we really wanna play.
Any updates on this? getting consistent crashes still when trying multiplayer

We also had a problem with this weird multiplayer mode.

First we both did the tutorial separately, because that's a requirement before you can even play together...?

Then I created a new session (basic settings) and my teammate couldn't find anything, neither my game nor any other game.

We already knew something like that from other games, so Steam was started in TCP mode (always helped with the other games when there were problems with the multiplayer mode).

Unfortunately not here... no way to activate the multiplayer mode at all.

I didn't even have the player management option that you should have when you press ESC.

Tried a lot and just before I wanted to return the game, I tried it without the tutorial.

Since I'm recording, I wanted us to start over together. In short... that's NOT allowed in the game.

Suddenly my teammate could at least get into the game and I had this player management.

This raises the question: Why can you start a multiplayer game WITH a tutorial if it doesn't have a multiplayer mode!?

Sorry, but that alone still needs to be worked on, it's far too confusing.

Then there were tons of errors and problems with the client player (stuck, upside down on the ladder, frozen, not being able to jump, etc.), which isn't really fun.

I hope that this will be worked on at some point.

But maybe the "solution" of starting without a tutorial will help someone else.
