Made helium fuel instead of upgrade

So I need to upgrade my airship and I need 4 helium to do that.
Unfortunately I made a mistake and used some of the helium to research helium fuel and make some of that fuel before realizing I didn't need to do that and instead just needed 4 helium to upgrade the ship's weight cap with the build tool.

Now I'm flying everywhere trying to find more Helium but it seems there is only a limited amount in the game as I've reached the invisible force fields surrounding the area and have traveled to all the bases that I can reach and all windmill bases. I see more but they are past the invisible walls (guessing some game checkpoint thing???)

Have I reached an end game point? Is there a way to revert back to a previous save as it seems upgrading the ship was what I was supposed to do first before making fuel?

There are usually a couple helium tanks in the greenhouse towers. Not as many as you'd find in a windfarm though.

Go to the Windfarms. The they usually have helium. Was just at one and got like 5 or 6. Also lower your weight by putting unused machines in storage. Fly another direction if you are hitting a stop. I have not heard of this before though. Go another way see if it helps.

Thanks for the tips, I did keep searching and found another location that had more helium. Just took awhile to find it.
