I read somewhere that I can just go to another tower, but how does their icon look on the radar map?

It will look the same as the one you just did. Was it the Noah's tower? Yes fling for a while in a straight line and will eventually you will start to see building repeat. But remember things are in biomes now. So must be in a same biome still.

There are two types of lift tower, regular and overgrown. At your stage of the game, you specifically need the regular ones because you can't get down the elevator at the overgrown ones yet, even if you get into the tower itself. So yes, just keep looking.

There are usually 10+ energy crystals in the underdust areas on lift towers, even without going into the sewers.
What the heck did you spend them on?
Look for white or blueish flowers, that bend your way when you get close.
You can find the crystals at their base.

I found a few more and once I find eproxy too I'll be able to continue
