Elevator not accessable

I cant seem to access the elevator to go back up it says waiting for players I am on single player

Did you try saving and exiting and restarting game? Since you are going up you might also try the unstuck button.

Same situation but trying to go down. Followed the story. Got to the elevator, made the pass, all the crystal batts to power the O2 stations, got through the upper areas, but found I needed a lot more epoxy than what I can find there to continue with the lower area. Left to go find some, but didn't want to travel beyond the radar range thinking the game would reset the location resulting in a loss of progress. But it appears the game did that anyway... Can't open the door with the same message the OP gets, that I just unlocked a few minutes ago. And I'll take it, none of the resources have respawned, but all the batts I put into the stations are gone. The last time this happened in a previous patch..... the cutscene in the lower areas also didn't happen, breaking the game.

Have you tried finding another tower just like it? Fly until you find one and see if it will let you in. Also the resources will be there again as it's a new tower. May have to fly in a straight line for a bit for map to reset.
