Scientist's access unit

where do I get this?

I has scanned the advanced access terminal, and it gave me the blueprint for scientists key card but not for the Scientist's access unit

so where do I locate this?

Check your suit printer, I ran into the same thing, then noticed I could craft it in the suit.

its not in the suit, only the scientist's keycard is there :(

Have you checked your research station? You should get the blueprint for the advanced pass component when you activate the floral hologram, but then you still need to research it.

Trying to remember how I got it, wasn't creating the key card enough to unlock the other one?

The OP doesn't have the recipe for the keycard for the second elevator. Getting it is a bit more complicated than the one for the first elevator; you have to make a special object (the floral hologram), then use it to research the access unit, and only then (after you have scanned the terminal to get the blueprint for the keycard itself) can you make the keycard.

I have not created the floral hologram, did not know I needed it for this. Will do that :)

You also need to keep it in your inventory not on the floor or ceiling.

I do remember making that one, just not when I made it

Not sure if you already found it by now, but reading the tablet next to the lift unlocks the keycard
