Anyone else unable to load save file?

I played my save just today around noon, tried to load it again later today yet now I'm getting 'Your save file does not support the current version. I don't see any news about an update dropping today or in game (unless I missed something), all I can think of is that maybe the Christmas event ending today just..broke some save files?

The holiday event did end today. But thst should gave taken you back to 1.7 and save still should work. I would verify files and or uninstall and reinstall. See if thst doesn't fix the issues. It could just be a glitch. Also make sure you are back on 1.7 non beta branch.

"Taken back" to the 1.7? That doesn't bode well, I started playing while the Christmas event was active. Makes me wonder if that made the save file corrupt trying to revert to a default version the save never began on.

Looks like this issue solved itself after the latest patch/update thankfully. Guess it just needed another patch-over to fully clear the Christmas stuff.
